New to our Benicia showroom is this highly impressive 1965 AC Cobra Replica Backdraft 2 Door Roadster with Monterey Red exterior paint, Pearl White racing stripes and a tan leather interior.  You’ll find a 340 horsepower, 302 cid V-8 engine (bored out to 306), a worldclass T5 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, a BMW rear end, 18” knock off wheels and so much more.  This track ready roadster is in fantastic condition as well and it needs nothing to be enjoyed immediately.  It’s been driven a mere 9,582 lifetime miles.

Built by Highly Reputable Backdraft Racers in 2013 

The current owner informs us that this replica 1965 AC Cobra Roadster was built by Backdraft Racing in Boca Raton, Florida.  If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, it was founded by champion auto racers Tony Marten and Reg Dodd to create truly legendary, street legal supercars that are track ready from day one.  This particular example was built back in 2013 with an estimated 340 horsepower and a full build sheet on file, so there’s no guessing to the quality of authenticity.  Out on the open road, this little roadster screams to life with unparalleled acceleration and handling.  There are few sports cars within this price range that can compare.
