This 1975 MCBurnie Ferrari Daytona Replica is a nearly identical to the real Daytona in every fashion. Ferrari branded gauges, emblems and lettering is found in all the right places, and there is even a Ferrari VIN plate under the hood. McBurnie was a US based bodywork company that built the Ferrari Daytona Spyder replicas out of fiberglass and gained great popularity due to the Miami Vice television show where the main character, Sonny Crocket, drove a black Daytona Spyder. Built on a 1975 Chevrolet Corvette C3 chassis this replica is powered by a 350 C.I. V8 and a three speed automatic transmission allowing the owner of this vehicle to enjoy the brilliant lines and design of the Italian bodied Ferrari, but also have the reliability and affordability of maintaining a Chevrolet underneath.

Exceptionally well maintained and cared for this McBurnie Daytona replica has seen just over 5,000 miles of use and shows no signs of damage anywhere on the body.There are no stress cracks in the fiberglass and the black paint is nearly perfect.The tan leather interior was done in true Daytona fashion and is still plush and soft to the touch. The black soft top is in excellent condition and is conveniently hidden behind the front seats and under a black cover when folded in the down position. One of the most stylish points on the car are the chrome 16" Dental Drive 72-Spoke wheels wrapped in GF Goodrich G-Force tires.Even the engine bay has been dressed in black crinkle paint and dual top mounted oil filters similar to that found in the real Daytona.

The last major service was completed in July 2009 when the car had just 3,786 miles at a total cost of $1,408.83.The work performed consisted of new front and rear pads and rotors, as well as brake fluid and an inspection of the hydraulic system.
