1973 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 4 Door Sedan

Owning a Rolls-Royce is certainly different than owning any other vehicle. This beautiful 1973 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow has been meticulously maintained and has had its fluids checked every 3 months to ensure everything operates smoothly. The Mason black exterior was repainted in 1994 and goes great with the near flawless beige interior. The interior is original with the exception of the front seat cushions. Rolls-Royce used a type of Conolly leather in the Shadows called Vamoul, which began to show creases as it aged; therefore the previous owner had the seats rebuilt and recovered. The lower cushions are removable and can be switched from side to side to even out wear, and the rest of the leather was re-dyed about five years ago.

The current owner bought the car in September 2005 and has kept the car under a cover or garaged ever since. When the owner now took possession of the car it had 29,000 miles, so the car has been driven only a few thousand miles each year. A top of the line McIntosh Stereo holding 7 CDs was installed (in dash, plus six CD in trunk), with ten new hi-end speakers and a catalytic converter and power amp ($8,500). The car has also been sound dampened to further quiet and insulate the interior of this Rolls. The previous owner also installed barrier insulation to the floors which basically has turned the car is a sound studio!
