This vehicle is displayed in our San Carlos California Showroom (650) 326-1000.
Here we have an all original un-modified 1972 Nissan 240Z painted a lush orange over a black interior. With only two previous owners and a lifetime spent in California this classic Z car has been well preserved with only 90,000 original miles. The Datsun 240Z was introduced in 1970 and featured an engine that essentially was a copy of the 1960's six-cylinder Mercedes-Benz 220 engine. Producing 151 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque, the vehicle could propel from zero-to-sixty in eight seconds, which was quite an accomplishment given the car's low price tag. The independent suspension and the rack-and-pinon steering added to its quick response, performance, and handling, making it one of the most affordable sports cars of its time.
