The next desirable classic arriving to our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1971 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Convertible with white exterior paint and a beige cloth interior. You’ll find a period-correct 400 cid V-8 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission and this desirable muscle car is completely loaded with power steering, power windows/locks, power front disc brakes, factory air conditioning, a power top, and a premium radio/CD sound system in the glove compartment and a trunk-mounted speaker box. This Pontiac rides on new BF Goodrich P245/60R-15 Radial tires mounted of factory Rally II Wheels.

Fully Restored w/ Excellent Street Performance

This 1971 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Convertible was originally sold in Mississippi and it has been enjoyed by what we believe to be three different owners across its lifetime. While we do not have a lot of documentation on file, we do know that the current owner installed a full Hotchkis Suspension including shocks. The upgraded suspension aids in this GTO driving like a much newer car and adds to its awesome looking stance. This beautiful muscle car has been restored at least once during its lifetime about five years ago and the ride quality is simply spectacular. It has excellent acceleration, impressive handling and very solid stopping power, making this the most complete example we’ve seen in quite some time.

Additionally, the interior of this 1971 Pontiac GTO Roadster could almost pass for new with world-class factory seating, carpeting and the wood-grain dashboard. All the gauges appear to be factory including the desirable hood tachometer, the factory radio and all the correct trim pieces. Combined with the sensational body lines, show quality paint and gleaming chrome work, this outstanding muscle car is extremely impressive and really stands out from similar models.
