With over 20 years of ownership this 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL is once again looking for a new place to call home. Painted a cranberry red over a black leather interior this Mercedes has been garage kept and seen less than 70,000 original miles. The current owner purchased this Mercedes in December of 1989 with 53,200 miles from the previous owner who lived just across the bay in nearby Danville, CA. Having been sold originally in San Francisco this Mercedes has been in California its entire life and thus been treated to nothing but fair weather.

Complete with both the hard top and soft top, this 280 SL also features the rare Kinder seat located behind the front seats. A well proportioned sports coupe the 280 SL featured two comfortable front seats and a soft top that was easily stored hidden away under a inconspicuous lid. The dash is well preserved and displays red inlayed trim which draws you attention immediately when inspecting the cabin. All of the instruments are in good working order and the black leather seats along with the grey carpets show no excessive wear. Powered by a 2788cc (2.8L) inline six cylinder engine and a 4 speed manual transmission this SL Mercedes is fun to drive and a great investment car.
