Gorgeous 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

New to our Fairfield showroom is this sensational 1965 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Convertible with Wimbledon White exterior paint and a matching white interior. It features a 390 CI V-8 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission and this gorgeous roadster is loaded with cold A/C, front disc brakes, custom Magnum 500 wheels with new Coker red-line tires, and a new black canvas power soft top.

Fully Loaded w/ Exceptional Curb Appeal

The current owner of this 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible purchased it in 2010 and began a complete mechanical resoration. This included a new 390 CI short block and installing aluminum Edelbrock Cobra Jet Heads, an aluminum Edelbrock Intake manifold, an aluminum Edelbrock High Volume Water Pump, and Fast EZ EFI fuel injection fed by an electric fuel pump. The A/C was converted from R12 to R134 and a light weight yet efficient Sandom a/c compressor was installed as well as a new new condensor and evaporator. The ignition system has been upgraded to a complete electronic Mallory sysytem. The engine is cooled by an electronic Flex-a-lite fan thermostatically controlled cool down cycle after engine shut off. Original Cruis-o-matice tranny recently rebuilt by Best Buy Transmissions in San Rafael. Suspension includes upgraded high performance sawy bars front and rear with Monroe Sensatrac shocks on all four corners. The car sounds like you would expect which features 2 1/2" dual exhaust flowing through Maganflow mufflers and exiting through two down turned custom chrome exhaust tips. The elctronics on the car are fully operational incliding the famous Thunderbird Sequential Tailights, upgraded to an all solid state system, fender signal signal lights and the awesome power trunk and top. Power is supplied by an upgraded one wire 140 amp alternator to insure there is ample power supply. Additionally, this desirable T-Bird has show-quality paint and a very clean interior, with only the slightest of visible blemishes throughout. We also have ample documentation on this classic including old receipts, books, the tank sticker, EZ-EFI computer interface and shop manuals.
