Superior 1965 Cadillac Deville Coupe

New to our Benicia showroom is this gorgeous 1965 Cadillac Deville 2 Door Coupe with Maroon exterior paint and a cream leather interior. This one comes fully loaded with a 429 CI V-8 engine, an automatic transmission, power steering/brakes, dual power seats, cold air conditioning and the factory radio. It is also in excellent condition as well and this beauty has been driven daily almost since the day it left the original California showroom.

Drivetrain Rebuilt in May 2012

The current owner of this 1965 Cadillac Deville purchased it with 12,000 miles on it way back in 1967. It was his dream ride at the time, and he continued to drive it every day up until earlier this year when he turned 96 years old. He did have the engine and the transmission rebuilt in May of 2012 as well, and everything on this old beauty still works well. In fact, the same mechanic has worked on this vehicle for over twenty years now.

In terms of actual performance, this 1965 Cadillac Deville still accelerates and handles like a fine luxury automobile. It delivers a soft, comfortable ride with tight handling and solid stopping power, so it is easily apparent that this one has always been taken care of. We also found out that it is highly original throughout with the exception of aftermarket A/C and one repaint at some point, although we cannot certify at this point that the drivetrain is numbers-matching. It very well could be, but we havent found out either way yet.

Same Owner for the Last 47 Years

Overall, this 1965 Cadillac Deville is in excellent condition and its proud lineage of being a daily driver for the past 50 years makes it all the more impressive. In fact, the only reason that the current owner is selling it is because he can no longer drive, and he really wants to see it go to another loving home where it will continue to be cherished.
