Mesmerizing 1965 AC 427 Cobra 2 Door Roadster

New to our Redwood City showroom is this unbelievable 1965 AC 427 Cobra 2 Door Roadster with Grabber Orange exterior paint and a black interior. It was built by Levy Racing with a balanced/machined 302 CI V-8 engine (.030 over to 306) with a Tremec T-5 transmission, 17” wheels, Baer disc brakes, an adjustable coil over suspension, Cobra racing seats w/ 5 point CROW racing harnesses, a Halon fire suppression system and too many other top-end features to list. Additionally, this incredible sports car has a mere 17,815 miles on the build.

Lightning-Fast Stage 3 EFI Engine

This 1965 AC Shelby Cobra roadster was built by the legendary Gordon Levy of Levy Racing in 2000 with a Factory Five MK1 kit and 100% new parts. The stage 3 EFI engine is fully machined and balanced with top of the line accessories like Performer RPM cylinder heads, forged pistons, a Trickflow intake, a precision designed hydraulic roller cam and ARP hardware throughout. It also has a 6000 RPM shift point that Dyno tested at 365 horsepower, so this little beauty has very little competition in its weight class.

In terms of actual condition, this 1965 AC 427 Cobra Roadster looks and drives like a brand new vehicle. With a mere 17,815 miles on the odometer, it performs better than any AC model we’ve ever driven with awesome handling, enormous power/torque and just a great overall feel. It is also SB100 smog exempt as well and with its C&R racing radiator, it’s not going to overheat on you in hot summer traffic. This is simply an incredible automobile at an eve more incredible price.
