Seriously Rare 1964 Pontiac GTO Hardtop

The next iconic classic up for grabs in our Redwood City showroom is this rare 1964 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Hardtop with red exterior paint, a black interior and a white roof liner. It features a 389 CI V-8 engine (bored .030 over) under the hood with the tri-power package and a desirable 4-speed manual transmission, plus it is nicely equipped with power front disc brakes, a premium sound system, premium wheels and numerous performance upgrades. This 64 GTO is the real deal and it is an absolute blast to drive.

Numerous Performance Upgrades w/ Tri-Power Setup

The current owner of this 1964 Pontiac GTO informs us that it was originally a 4 bbl carburetor from the factory, but it was upgraded to the Tri-power setup for extra performance. It also has high compression heads with 10.75:1 compression, a new water pump plus new fans, hoses, an entirely new exhaust, new u-joints and new 323 gears with Posi traction. In other words, this is definitely not your typical driverit has had significant performance upgrades throughout.

In terms of actual condition, this 1964 Pontiac GTO checks in well above the typical driver standard. It is a three owner vehicle that was originally purchased in San Francisco, and it is readily evident that it has been well cared for over the years. The original interior does show some slight signs of wear but it is extremely clean throughout. It would be near impossible to find a more desirable, better-built muscle car at this price point.
