New to our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous, fully restored 1958 Chevrolet 3200 1/2 Ton 2 Door Fleetside Pickup with Tartan Turquoise and White two-tone exterior paint, along with a matching turquoise/white interior. It features the factory 235 CI straight-six engine under the hood with the matching 3-speed column shift transmission, and this high-end show truck has been completely restored to like-new condition. With a sensational oak bed with vibrant chrome runners, white walls with center caps and a sensational body, this is easily one of the finest examples we’ve come across in years.

Numbers-Matching Drivetrain & 100% Professionally Restored

The current owner of this 1958 Chevrolet 3200 1/2 Ton Fleetside Pickup purchased it in 2012, right after the factory original motor was rebuilt. He informs us that it is a highly original three-owner vehicle that’s remained in California its entire life, which is why he insisted restoring it the right way back to its factory brilliance. Besides the engine (that was already freshly rebuilt), he restored or replaced every single mechanical component over the next two years. For example, the transmission and the differential were pulled and rebuilt from the ground up, as was the master/brake cylinders, the clutch and pressure plate, the suspension and literally every other aspect of this vehicle.

The restoration was not only mechanical, however, because this rare 1958 Chevrolet 3200 Pickup also received enormous love and attention when it came to the body and the interior. While we never use the term “perfect” when describing a vehicle, this one comes exceedingly close with premium paint, excellent chrome work and a gorgeous hardwood bed. Collectors will appreciate this build because everything was so tastefully restored to make this one look like it just pulled out of the factory showroom…it is truly spectacular in every sense of the word.
