V8 Side Oiler that has been massaged to produce 580 horsepower at 5,700 rpm this Cobra will beg you to push the limit, but scare you at the same time. The increased horsepower isdue to a number of upgrades that include Blue Thunder Aluminum Heads, T& D roller rockers, Scat crank and rods, Competition solid lifter camshaft, Hilborn fuel injection, and much more.A Tremec TKO 600RR five speed manual has been fitted to handle the added power and features a 0.86 fifth gear overdrive along with hardened 3rd and 4th gears. Tucked away in the rear sits a Currie Enterprises 9 inch rear end that features a 3.70:1 ratio and is essentially a bulletproof application that can handle the 427's massive power.With increased power comes the need for increased stopping ability and the owner of this Cobra has fitted 11" rotors with dual piston SBBC calipers up front and a 11" rotor with a single piston application in the rear. With only 650 miles on the entire drivetrain this Cobra is afresh product of a recent build that many dream of.
