Four doors and four hundred horsepower are not often mentioned together when looking for a luxury automobile, but that is exactly what you will find in the 2006 Jaguar Super V8 Portfolio. Powered by a 4.2L supercharged V8 and a six speed automatic ZF transmission the Portfolio is an absolute joy to drive. Loaded with comfort features inside and gorgeous black cherry paint on the exterior there is little left to be desired from a four door sedan. This limited production Jaguar saw just 145 units come to the United States and its most unique design element is the aluminum power vents at the trailing edge of the front fenders. The Super V8 gets the full performance powertrain, suspension, and brake package, plus larger tailpipes and a special 20-inch wheel s. The cabin trim is also specially built, in the form of a fixed rear center console with audio controls and adjustable rear seats, super soft "Conker" leather, suede-fabric headliner, satin-finished American black walnut veneers, and lavish fold-down picnic tables. The Portfolio comes in long-wheelbase form only allowing for plenty of leg room for four adults. With a sticker price of $115,995.00 this Jaguar was the crme of the crop in 2006 and still holds its own in today's world of luxury European cars.
