Named after one of Ferraris first coachbuilders, Sergio Scaglietti, this 2+2 is one of Ferraris ultimate grand touring vehicles.Sergio was known for being an artisan in aluminum sculpting and Ferrari definitely choose the proper namesake. In fact this was the second Ferrari to have a completely aluminum body.

Designed to be the true successor to the 456M 2+2, the 612 vastly improves on what was a very successful formula.Despite its larger size, it actually weighs less due to the aluminum used in construction. The bodys rigidity was also improved by over 60% and the weight distribution was enhanced.

The engine is a new, all-aluminum, 48-valve, 5.75-liter V-12. This drive-by-wire system punches out 532 horsepower, 98 hp more than the 456GT; torque is rated at 434 lb-ft. Ferrari claims the Scaglietti will deliver 0-60 times of 4.1 seconds, about a tenth of a second faster than the 2+2 it replaces. Top speed is a claimed 196 mph.

What all of this boils down to is, dare we say, a Ferrari that makes many concessions to the type of driving most of us do every day.The 612 has back seats that are actually usable by adults, is extremely generous on cabin space, and even has a decently sized trunk. It is also the first Ferrari ever to feature an active damping suspension and CST stability and traction control.Dont worry, this is by no means a dumbed down car, as you will immediately be able to tell when you take it for a test drive.

Our 2005 612 is finished in a storied color known as Grigio Ingrid. The namesake for this color comes from Casablanca actress Ingrid Bergman. The signature scallop sides of the 612 were a throwback to a 1954 Ferrari 375MM commissioned by Robert Rossellini for his wife, Ingrid Bergman. The grey it was painted in was at the time a custom color, and later became available with Ingrids name.

With only 9,800 miles on the odometer, this locally-owned car was lightly used. That being said, it was regularly driven, as there is nothing worse for a Ferrari than to sit.We also have a Carfax on hand which is clean and accident free.
We invite you to come take a look at this elegant grand tourer which can be yours for a fraction of what it cost new.
