Elegant and clean 2000 Jaguar XJ8 featuring Emerald Green paint over a Cashmere leather interior. Under the same ownership since 2002 this Jaguar has been regularly maintained and drives great . The Vanden Plas shares the longer wheelbase with the XJ8L, which is 117.9 inches, while the standard XJ8 and the XJR ride on a 113-inch wheelbase. Visually, that wheelbase extension is reflected in the length of the rear windows. The powertrain, suspension and electrical system are new to the Jaguar sedan. Ford owned Jaguar in 2000 and had brought financial support and technology to the company, which has greatly benefited the XJ8. Electrical systems, electronics and other traditional Jaguar problem areas have been eliminated since Ford got involved. This Xj8 is powered by a 4.0L 32 valve V8 engine producing 290 horsepower and a five speed automatic transmission with normal and sport mode options. Speed sensitive steering and traction control enable the driver to feel confident in the cars ability to perform even when pushed to the limits.
