If you have never heard of the Excalibur Automobile Corporation, they have been producing hand built custom cars for over four decades.Most of their automobiles are retro 30s styled, however they did try their hand at a Cobra in the 90s.

The body is made from hand-laid fiberglass and the interior is lined with comfortable, leather high-back bucket seats. Also notable about the Excalibur Cobra is the increased interior room.Both driver and passenger have 5 inches of extra legroom and 4 inches of shoulder room when compared to the original Cobra.Another hard to come by option in a Cobra is the air conditioner which will make driving on a hot day even more pleasant.

The motor is a Ford 5-literhigh output 302 producing 215 hp and 285 ft/lb of torque.This is a great motor giving you a balance of V-8 power, fuel economy,and excellent drivability.The 302 is mated to a Borg-Warner T-5 manual transmission. The rear end is a heavy duty Ford 9 with 3:50 gears, which is great for both highway and city streets.

Originally purchased new in 1997 at the Los Gatos Auto Mall, this Excalibur Cobra has been owned by the current owner since 1999.It only has 4300 miles on the odometer, and comes with the optional soft top and a custom painted yellow racing stripe.
