Beautiful 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL coated in a unique Garnet Red exterior over a light beige interior. This convertible Mercedes features both a black soft top and a matching Garnet Red hard top , combining the best of both worlds; quick easy access to the soft top and the quiet wind noise reduced ride that only a hard top provides. Powered by the 5.6L V8 and a four speed automatic this 560 SL is smooth and quiet. The 5.6L engine found in this Mercedes was a stroked version of the company's single overhead-cam 5.0L V8, which had been used in the 500SL that was not sold in the United States.

Mercedes Benz has a very long history of manufacturing some of the world's finest cars that stretches back to the late 1800s. Many of these cars have been critically acclaimed sports cars, of which many were convertibles. One of the most recognizable and popular designs that the company has made is the 107 SL range, a series of sporty coupes and convertibles made from 1971 to 1989. One of the most popular examples in this line, at least to North American enthusiasts, was the 560SL, made for three years from 1986 to 1989.
