MORE PICTURES & INFORMATION TO COME SOON! This beautiful 1986 Pantera GT5S is a very rare and unique car and is absolutely stunning in Millennium Gold (yellow). Powered by a 351 C.I. V8 Cleveland engine and a 5 speed ZF transmission this wide-body Pantera is classic Italian design with American muscle. The wood veneer dash is absolutely stunning and in great condition, while the dark blue seats hold you comfortably . With less than 26 imported into the United States this Pantera is extremely desirable and only has 20k miles on the odometer.
The last production Pantera's were sold in 1974, with DeTomaso running production into 1975 with a reserve of 175 left-over unfinished coaches purchased from Ford/Vignale. Pantera slowed production of its car from 40 per week, to 2 per week, after Ford stopped buying them. After the Ford spec Panteras were put to an end the company made a new model of car that was first introduced to the public in 1980 as the GT5. The GT5 wide body evolved in 1985 with the introduction of the GT5-S, which replaced the fiberglass wheel arches with steel flares that blended into the body and rear wheel-house in a much more elegant fashion. The final GT5-S chassis was assembled in 1990 and was #9562, where as the first chassis was #9375. This particular car is chassis #9457.
