New to our Fairfield showroom is this simply outstanding 1983 Mercedes Benz 380 SL 2 Door Roadster with black exterior paint and a grey leather interior. It features the factory 3.8L V-8 engine under the hood along with the numbers-matching automatic transmission, and this highly optioned model comes with power everything, 4 wheel disc brakes, cruise control, ice cold A/C (upgraded to R-134), premium factory wheels and sensational curb appeal. This roadster has been driven a mere 39,164 lifetime miles as well and it includes both the factory hard and soft tops.

This 1983 Mercedes Benz 380 SL Roadster was originally sold in Los Angeles to a family in Beverley Hills, and until recently it has remained in the Southern California area throughout its lifetime. In fact, we still have its original window sticker plus full documentation on all the service work it’s received since new. The current owner has upgraded it to dual row timing chain and had the A/C converted to the modern R-134 standard, but otherwise this one is 100% original and in excellent overall condition. The sale also includes a custom car cover that was made specifically for this classic vehicle.

In terms of actual condition, this 1983 Mercedes Benz 380 SL could almost pass for new. If you look close enough, long enough, you can eventually spot a tiny blemish or two in the exterior paint…but it is practically flawless. The leather interior is just as clean and it is very obvious that this one was driven sparingly and always kept in immaculate condition throughout its lifetime.
