Manufactured for almost two full decades, between 1971 and 1989, Mercedes\' highly regarded type R107 SL Roadster has made history in a big way. Below the aluminum bonnet awaits a 3,838cc all aluminum V8, the lightest eight-cylinder power plant ever installed in any Mercedes-Benz automobile! Featuring cylinder walls coated with Nikasil (for increased durability), two single overhead camshafts (SOHC), and BOSCH CIS electronic fuel injection. The Roadster starts, runs, shifts, and handles beautifully, just like you would expect it from a low-mileage sunshine car! The body is in excellent condition, with an extremely glossy and attractive Classic White finish as you can see from the pictures.
