Great Scott, Marty! Before us is a gorgeous 1981 Delorean DMC-12 Gullwing 2 Door Sports Coupe with a nice stainless steel exterior and black interior seating. It features the factory 2.8L six-cylinder engine with a rare factory automatic transmission and this one comes very nicely equipped with cold A/C, 4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering/windows/mirrors, a factory alarm, alloy wheels and an updated stereo system (original radio included as well). Additionally, this highly desirable supercar has a mere 25,258 lifetime miles on the drivetrain and it is one of only around 1,000 ever made with a factory automatic transmission.

Restored by the DeLorean Motor Company in December of 2014

The current owner of this 1981 Delorean DMC-12 Gullwing Sports Coupe purchased it in 2010 and went straight to the Delorean Motor Company in December of 2012 to have it fully restored. There they replaced the gaskets and adjusted the valves, plus added a new muffler, water pump, alternator, condenser, and master cylinder. Then they replaced all the hoses, belts, tires, struts (for doors/hood/trunk) and the gullwing door release system, plus many other tune ups and fine adjustments. The result is a sports car that runs like new and really stands out in a crowd.
Of course, one of the big draws of the 1981 Delorean DMC-12 is from its iconic role in the Back to the Future franchise, and the current owner is including many of his movie props from over the years as well. So with your very own Flux Capacitor on board, you’ll be able to show this well-kept supercar off almost anywhere.
