This champagne gold 1980 Mercedes 450SL features great paint and a very straight body, free of any door dings or scratches. The tan leather interior has held the test of time and is still comfortable and luxurious. The 4.5L V8 with 230 horsepower provides plenty of power to the three speed automatic transmission, which also supplies a smooth controlled ride. The current owner purchased this car for his wife less than a year ago and it has always been garaged, but the time has come to part ways. One of the great features about this car is that in 1980 Mercedes brought a new antilock braking system to the SL, which was the first electronic ABS offered in America. The SL model line for Mercedes has always looked good and this particular car looks even better at this affordable price.
