1975 Triumph Spitfire 2 Door Roadster

This 1975 Triumph Spitfire is an affordable classic that will provide plenty of driving enjoyment. Painted a classic British green this Triumph features good paint and a very presentable interior. Equipped with both a soft top and black hard top this Spitfire is good for all four seasons. At the end of 1974 Triumph introduced a modified 1300cc engine that was enlarged to 1493cc, resulting in the Spitfire 1500 name. Horsepower was rated at 71 and the torque rating was only slightly improved, but with the new Marina transmission the Spitfire was able to reach 100mph. Produced until 1980 the Spitfire 1500 only saw minor changes from 1975, which included the removal of stainless steel and chrome trim in favor of black pieces that were thought to modernize the car. This particular Spitfire was maintained and owned by a local mechanic and is still in great condition.
