We want to provide an update to our most valued customers regarding the current situation with COVID-19.
With the shelter in place order in effect, we have closed all three showrooms to the public. However, we have ensured all of our sales staff are able perform their jobs from home to the fullest extent. For any inquiries of any vehicle offered for sale or potential consignment, please contact the showroom you would like to reach, and our staff will be more than able to help with any information or details you require.
With our showrooms closed to the public we are adhering to a strict appointment only policy for anyone who may need to look at a vehicle or potentially consign one on site. We want to minimize as much contact, so we ask that you please commit to an appointment and that you are serious about looking at a car. Rare 1972 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super Shortbed Pickup
The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super 2 Door Fleetside ShortbedPickup with blue and white exterior paint and a matching blue Hound's-tooth cloth interior. You’ll find a rare optional 400 cubic inch V-8 engine under the hood mated to a TH400 automatic transmission, a “G80” locking rear differential and this pickup came equipped with the Cheyenne Super package (wood-grain trim, deluxe interior), factory air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, chrome bumpers, a tilt-steering column, tachometer and a comfort grip steering wheel.
This exceedingly rare 1972 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super Pickup is one of only 8% of models produced with a 400 V-8 engine, one of 28% with the TH400 transmission, one of 33% with factory A/C and one of 7% in the Cheyenne Super package. All combined, this is an incredibly uncommon build of one of the most desirable model years for the Chevy C10.
Correct ‘T0522TLM’ Stamp w/ Original Parts ID Sticker
The current owner believes that this 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super Pickup has the factory-correct 400 V-8 motor and automatic transmission, with the correct T0522TLM stamp on the block and the original parts identification sticker attached to the glovebox door. The drivetrain was rebuilt approximately 3,000 miles ago and received a new intake manifold, carburetor, valve covers and an “Old Air” modern air conditioning system for better reliability, plus a great sounding Borla exhaust and a new stereo system with upgraded speakers installed in custom kick panels. We also have the original A/C bracket which will be included in the sale of this classic pickup.
Additionally, this 1972 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super Pickup has been enjoyed by three lifetime owners and originally sold in Northern Texas. The original owner’s son sold this rare classic to a local Texas mechanic’s shop in 2018, which was where the pickup was the recipient of a frame on restoration. It appears to be in tremendous condition today with only the slightest of imperfections. The exterior paint and body are immaculate with glossy two-tone paint and like-new trim and bright work.
In terms of performance, this 1972 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super Pickup starts easily and provides excellent acceleration, handling and stopping power. It sounds fantastic from the upgraded Borla exhaust and this desirable pickup drives ‘like new’ thanks to the subtle upgrades and convenience features. The engine bay, interior and undercarriage are equally as impressive and this highly original classic is easily one of the most impressive examples nationwide.
One of the Cleanest, Well-Documented Examples Around
