New to our Benicia showroom is this very impressive 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 2 Door Hardtop with red exterior paint and a black vinyl interior. Under the hood you’ll find a 350 HO V-8 crate engine paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission, plus this one is nicely optioned with power front disc brakes, a premium sound system and aftermarket performance wheels as well. With excellent curb appeal and plenty of recent mechanical upgrades, this ’72 Malibu hits on all cylinders and really makes a lasting impression.

Less than 6,000 Miles on Upgraded Drivetrain

The current owner of this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Hardtop informs us that it is a three-owner vehicle that was originally sold in Lynnwood, Washington as a 302 with the 2 BBL carburetors. Within the past 6,000 miles, it was upgraded to a HO crate motor with a brand new Turbo 350 transmission, and the improvement in performance is simply incredible. It also has custom Stanley tri-Y headers and a number of other upgrades to squeeze out as much power/torque as possible, so you can expect a quality experience in this Chevy for years to come.

In terms of actual condition, this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu has very nice chrome and exterior paint with only slight signs of aging. There is a tiny rust spot on the driver’s side front fender, for example, and the interior does show some wear as well.
