We want to provide an update to our most valued customers regarding the current situation with COVID-19.
With the shelter in place order in effect, we have closed all three showrooms to the public. However, we have ensured all of our sales staff are able perform their jobs from home to the fullest extent. For any inquiries of any vehicle offered for sale or potential consignment, please contact the showroom you would like to reach, and our staff will be more than able to help with any information or details you require.
With our showrooms closed to the public we are adhering to a strict appointment only policy for anyone who may need to look at a vehicle or potentially consign one on site. We want to minimize as much contact, so we ask that you please commit to an appointment and that you are serious about looking at a car. If you are wanting to consign a vehicle, we ask that you send us as much information over the phone and email so we can evaluate your vehicle before you bring it down to one of our locations. You will find all relevant contact information on this email so feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Stunning, Powerful 1971 Dodge Challenger Coupe
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1971 Dodge Challenger 2 Door Coupe with yellow exterior paint, black racing stripes and a nice black vinyl interior. This desirable muscle car was rebuilt within the last 3,000 miles with a 440 cid V-8 engine under the hood, Edelbrock heads & intake, an aluminum radiator w/ electric fans, an upgraded suspension and a 4-speed manual transmission. This classic is in excellent condition throughout as well and it is ready for the next owner to enjoy at local shows and around town.
Only 3K Miles on Sizzling Modern Performance Build
The current owner of this 1971 Dodge Challenger Coupe purchased it over 21 years ago and enjoyed it for decades as a typical driver before deciding to turn it into something truly special. This classic started its life as a 318 V-8 automatic and was only recently upgraded into the muscle car that you see before you today, with a fully overhauled drivetrain, suspension, paint and more. Most would consider this vehicle a high-end driver since there are some small imperfections to the body and interior. It shows nicely in person though and does not need anything to be enjoyed right away.
Additionally, this 1971 Dodge Challenger Coupe was built for modern performance and it cruises cool around town at highway speeds. The power/torque is also exceptional throughout the gears and this classic muscle car will take your breath away when prompted. It’s a highly impressive build and with a clean engine compartment, the build quality truly is second to none. This classic will appeal to a wide variety of collectors due to its overall provenance, documentation and curb appeal.

Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
