1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 2 Door Coupe

This fantastic red over black Karmann Ghia was originally purchased in San Francisco and has just over 107,000 miles on the odometer. This one owner California coupe is very special and rare in that it comes with the auto/shift option giving the owner the ease of an automatic transmission with look and feel of a manual. The original interior is super clean, and the car has never seen an accident. The exterior paint was re-sprayed the original color six years ago, as the owner wanted to keep the paint bright, but this car looks great inside and out. We have a stack of maintenance receipts for this classic VW and it drives perfect. This car is super cute and passed our rigorous safety inspection with flying colors. Once again, this Ghia has had one owner since it was new in 1970! These fabulous cars were designed for VW by the Italian designer, Ghia and the bodywork is by German coach-builder Karmann, thus the Karmann Ghia.
