We want to provide an update to our most valued customers regarding the current situation with COVID-19.
With the shelter in place order in effect, we have closed all three showrooms to the public. However, we have ensured all of our sales staff are able perform their jobs from home to the fullest extent. For any inquiries of any vehicle offered for sale or potential consignment, please contact the showroom you would like to reach, and our staff will be more than able to help with any information or details you require.
With our showrooms closed to the public we are adhering to a strict appointment only policy for anyone who may need to look at a vehicle or potentially consign one on site. We want to minimize as much contact, so we ask that you please commit to an appointment and that you are serious about looking at a car. If you are wanting to consign a vehicle, we ask that you send us as much information over the phone and email so we can evaluate your vehicle before you bring it down to one of our locations. You will find all relevant contact information on this email so feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Our service department in our Fairfield location will be fully operational as an Essential Business and will adhere to our schedule of M-F 9am - 5:30pm. For any service-related questions please give us a call at (707) 419-8209.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in these challenging times, and we want to thank you for your support now and over the years and look forward to serving you in the years to come.
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this 1970 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton 2 Door Long Bed Pickup with red exterior paint, a black tonneau cover and a maroon cloth interior. You’ll find a 468 cid V-8 engine under the hood that’s paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission and this classic truck is nicely equipped for modern driving. With less than 10,000 miles on the rebuilt motor.
Big 468 Big Block V-8 Engine with Excellent Performance
The current owner father acquired this 1970 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton Pickup back in 1990 and he informs us that this classic was driven and enjoyed over the last 30 years by his father. You will find some minor imperfections to the exterior and some fading, but otherwise the exterior is very straight and stands out as a nice driver. The interior is nice and clean throughout with factory gauges, an aftermarket stereo and other subtle upgrades.
Additionally, this 1970 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton Long Bed Pickup delivers impressive performance with the re- built 468 V-8 engine and a nicely sorted engine compartment. Out on the open road, this classic has strong acceleration and more than adequate handling to be used as a weekend or a daily driver. It would also make a great candidate for a complete restoration since the body is in such impressive overall condition. Either way, this classic pickup will appeal to a wide variety of collectors at the current asking price.
An Excellent Value at the Current Asking Price
Overall, this 1970 GMC C1500 Long Bed Pickup is an excellent driver quality classic with impressive performance and very nice curb appeal. It’s also available at a conservative asking price since the value of these models have been steadily increasing, so do not expect for it to remain available for long. For more information about this vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com. Be sure to mention Stock # P10625 as well.
Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
The information presented for this vehicle is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed as a basis of purchase. The Buyer should make a thorough, independent inspection and investigation of the vehicle prior to purchase.
