We want to provide an update to our most valued customers regarding the current situation with COVID-19.
With the shelter in place order in effect, we have closed all three showrooms to the public. However, we have ensured all of our sales staff are able perform their jobs from home to the fullest extent. For any inquiries of any vehicle offered for sale or potential consignment, please contact the showroom you would like to reach, and our staff will be more than able to help with any information or details you require.
With our showrooms closed to the public we are adhering to a strict appointment only policy for anyone who may need to look at a vehicle or potentially consign one on site. We want to minimize as much contact, so we ask that you please commit to an appointment and that you are serious about looking at a car. If you are wanting to consign a vehicle, we ask that you send us as much information over the phone and email so we can evaluate your vehicle before you bring it down to one of our locations. You will find all relevant contact information on this email so feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Our service department in our Fairfield location will be fully operational as an Essential Business and will adhere to our schedule of M-F 9am - 5:30pm. For any service-related questions please give us a call at (707) 419-8209.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in these challenging times, and we want to thank you for your support now and over the years and look forward to serving you in the years to come.

Beautiful Custom 1970 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton Wideside Pickup
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1970 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton Wideside 2 Door Pickup with orange exterior paint and a beautiful gray cloth interior. You’ll find a 350 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, a 10-bolt rear end, a brand new exhaust, new A/C and a brand new interior. This amazing classic has been fully restored in recent years as well and it is in amazing, like new condition throughout.
Fully Restored to Show-Stopping Levels by Previous Owner
The current owner of this 1970 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton Wideside Pickup purchased it at auction in Reno, Nevada last year. Unfortunately, because the vehicle was purchased at auction, we do not have any documentation on the build itself, but we can tell you that this amazing pickup was restored to the highest possible levels. The entire drivetrain, suspension, interior and body are very close to or better than like-new condition. Interestingly, the previous owner who had this classic restored opted to make this example look like a Chevy CK/10 with Chevrolet badging, a Chevrolet front grill and tailgate.
This 1970 GMC 1500 Pickup is an absolutely stunning build in person and it definitely belongs in a prestigious collection or with a local Bay Area business.
Additionally, this 1970 GMC C1500 Wideside Pickup offers impressive performance with excellent acceleration, handling and overall ride quality. With numerous performance upgrades and a like-new body, interior and undercarriage, this amazing classic can be enjoyed immediately in almost any capacity. What really stands out though is that none of the restoration was over the top or in poor taste- this is simply an ultra-clean, smooth riding pickup that’s ready for the open road.
An Incredible Value at the Current Asking Price
Overall, this 1970 GMC C1500 1/2 Ton Wideside Pickup is a tremendous investment opportunity since it borders on new condition both inside and out. At the current asking price, you won’t find an early 70’s GMC anywhere near this level of perfection or refinement- it will certainly find a new home quickly! Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
The information presented for this vehicle is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed as a basis of purchase. The Buyer should make a thorough, independent inspection and investigation of the vehicle prior to purchase.
