Simply Immaculate 1970 American Motors AMX Coupe

The next highly desirable classic in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1970 American Motors AMX Coupe with Bayshore Blue Poly exterior paint, Silver Blue racing stripes and a spectacular blue vinyl interior.  You’ll find a factory correct 360 cubic inch V-8 engine under the hood with a four-barrel carburetor, headers, a Ram Air hood scoop and a 4-speed manual transmission.  This ultra-rare classic also includes power brakes, premium light weight wheels and so much more.  It is also in tremendous overall condition and has been lovingly cared for - this one must be seen in person to fully appreciate.

Highly Original in Appearance and Condition

The 1970 AMC AMX saw only 4,116 examples delivered in this generation’s final production year and this particular example appears excellent in person with very straight body lines, excellent paint and metalwork, plus an ultra-clean interior that could almost pass for new.  The engine compartment is also very correct in appearance and delivers excellent power to the wheels.  It is unknown if this classic was restored by a previous owner since we do not have much documentation on its history- the current owner purchased it last year and has very limited documentation to share.
