One-Of-A-Kind Pro Street Stingray

Up for sale today is a true one-of-a-kind performance vehicle that took over nine years to fully complete; a 1970 Chevrolet Corvette with pewter and black paint with a gorgeous black interior. This powerful vehicle features a 396 CI V-8 engine with a GMC-style supercharger under the hood with a turbo 400 automatic transmission and several other upgrades like dual Edelbrock 650 carbs, a Be Cool aluminum radiator, and long tube headers. In fact, everything under the hood is top of the line and this vehicle has less than 400 miles on it since the entire frame-off restoration was completed in 2005.

Complete Frame-Off Restoration

This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette also has a story that's as incredible as the sports car itself. It was owned by Corvette restoration expert Paul Wilson who was known throughout the industry as one of the best around, and this was one of the only vehicles that he did not restore back to factory condition. While Wilson passed on in 2001 and never saw he dream ride completed, his longtime friend David Davidson promised to get this beauty on the road and he sought the help of Dan "Master Glass Man" Dempsey and Tom Attalla to turn this roaring muscle car into a piece of artwork.

This 1970 Chevrolet Corvette was finally completed in December of 2005 and it has remained parked indoors since that time, except for a handful of shows and periodic driving to keep it in top mechanical form. In fact, this Pro Street racer is still immaculate in every sense of the word and everything from the wiring to the custom paint work to the steel hose clamps were completed to show standards. This "Vette has also been professionally tuned recently by Maloof Racing in San Gabriel and it received a full $2k service from McMillian's Speed & Fab just a few months ago.
