1969 RAVEN BLACK FORD MUSTANG MACH 1 , R-CODE 428 SCJ, 4-SPD CLOSE RATIO TOP LOADER391 TO 1 NODULAR 9 INCH DIFFERENTIALThis beautiful Raven Black, 1969 Ford Mustang Mach I has been family owned since new. It has been pampered by these Californians whom all have a sweet tooth for fast Fords. First the Uncle, then the Father and now the Son have enjoyed this Black, beautiful Beast over the years. The Uncle reportedly had polio but that didn't stop his passion for speed to which he was known on the Peninsula to have never lost a race uniquely slapping the gears with his handicap hand which left his runner ups having a familiar view of this R-codes tail lights. Like I said, this car was pampered or driven the way it was supposed to be driven. This family was well healed from their local business they built over the years which allowed them to address any needs this Mach 1 commanded and is quite evident when you first lay eyes on this stunning car or especially when you drive it. The paint is show quality with a classic car rating of #2 at least and is only 3yrs new. Look at the tree branches and clouds in the reflective art shots! Or better yet, come lay your own set of eyes on this stunning paint job. According to the owner this R-code's original 428 SCJ engine was rebuilt just 500 miles ago by Tucker Transmissions in Burlingame, California. They also claim the transmission and rear differential are original to this car. The car drives out cleanly with much authority as you can expect from this legendary F.E. derived 7 litre V-8. The transmission shifts as it should with no unusual sounds or vibrations. The rear end holds the reins of the torque spewed out by the R-code. The brakes, well the Uncle wanted to do one thing, Go Fast and Stop eventually!! According to Kevin Marti, this particular car is 1 of 4 Raven Black Mach 1's that were optioned out like this one. This is a Ford that several Chevy and Mopar fanatics converted over to. When you see this car in person you will understand why. This car is ready for show, track days or occasional Sunday cruises remembering the good old muscle car era for what is was? Brute power! This car includes:A Elite Marti report Original build sheetsOriginal dealer order formsSome spare parts1969 Mustang Facts bookA great history
