First generation Camaros with 4 speed manual transmissions have been in hot demand and this 1969 Camaro is no exception.Painted Dusk Blue with a white stripe hockey stripe down the fender this Camaro shows well and features a matching dark blue interior as well.Under the hood sits a 396 C.I. V8 producing 350 horsepower that was recently rebuilt to factory specifications and has seen just over a 100 miles since the rebuild.The four speed M-21 Muncie wide ratio transmission was also rebuilt and shifts smoothly with no issues.Both the engine and transmission are period correct units and date coded for 1968.Power steering and power front disc brakes make driving this classic Camaro a pleasurable experience, and considering the final drive ratio is only 3.08 the car will cruise nicely on the highway as well. Originally sold at Rodway Chevrolet in Redding, California this Camaro has been in the current owners possession for over 22 years and has never left California.The current owner even has a copy of the original build sheet for this Camaro, although it has become illegible and somewhat tattered over the years.
