1968 Triumph GT6 2 Door Fastback Coupe

This 1968 Triumph GT6 features a bright red exterior over a black vinyl interior and wood grain dash. Power is delivered form the rev-happy 1998cc six cylinder engine through a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission. Originally owned by a British car mechanic this Triumph was always well taken car of mechanically and continues to be under the current owner. With a recent engine rebuilt just 1k miles ago, re-chromed bumpers, and a new headliner installed this GT6 is both cosmetically and mechanically solid.

Triumph's GT6 model was produced from 1966 through 1973 and followed in the footsteps of the Spitfire sports car. These cars featured a two seat fastback look with a rear hatch that could be opened from outside. The interior contained a wood dash and complete instrumentation, as well as heaters and carpets which were luxury items at the time, but Triumph offered them as standard equipment. Fuel economy from the straight six was average and top speed was reached at around 106 mph.
