Truly Inspirational 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang 2 Door Coupe with Mercury Blue exterior paint, white racing stripes and a black vinyl interior. You’ll find a 1969 302 cid V-8 engine under the hood with .030 over pistons, a Comp Cam, an Edelbrock 1405 carburetor, a stock distributor and an automatic transmission…all of which has been rebuilt within the last 255 miles. This fantastic build also has Ford 8” 3.50 gears, manual front disc brakes, a Griffon radiator and so much more.
You must see this prestigious muscle car to truly appreciate the quality of the build- it’s been with the current owner since 2000 and immaculately cared for.
The current owner of this 1968 Ford Mustang informs us that he has completely overhauled it within the past 3,784 miles with period correct parts and accessories throughout. Its powerful 302 V-8 got some welcomed performance upgrades as well and this gorgeous muscle car is a true joy to drive. The handling is also exceptional and there’s very little this example doesn’t do well. It’s ready to be driven and enjoyed right away as a really high end daily driver or a great ride for local weekend shows.
In terms of condition, this 1968 Ford Mustang has a very straight body and show quality paint that shows only the slightest of imperfections. Everything was finished at a very high level and the vinyl interior is equally impressive. The only thing this beauty really lacks from being stage ready is some dress up in the engine compartment and a little refreshing- it is super clean but kept with more of a stock appearance. It is a great buy at this price point.
Impressive Two Owner Lifetime California Classic
Overall, this 1968 Ford Mustang is an outstanding performer that turns heads virtually wherever it goes. With awe-inspiring performance and tremendous curb appeal, you won’t find a more complete example anywhere within this price range. This one has to be seen in person to truly appreciate because it will take your breath away. Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
