Looking for a classic convertible at an affordable price? This 1968 Chevrolet Corvair should be right up your alley then. This Chevrolet is a unique vehicle in that it is the only mass produced American passenger car with a rear mounted engine. The horizontally opposed aluminum six cylinder engine is air cooled and hooked up to a 4 speed manual transmission. Painted a metallic blue over a blue interior with a white soft top the Corvair is a clean looking classic that runs great. Just serviced at a local shop here in San Carlos, CA in July this Corvair received a complete tune-up, drained fuel tank, new brakes, new tires, rebuilt carburetor, replaced wheel cylinders, new oil pump, and valve cover gasket.
