Located in our Pleasanton showroom, this incredibly sharp '68 Ford Mustang Coupe finished in Raven Black over Black interior, powered by its J-code 302 V8, C4 Automatic transmission, this San Jose-built Coupe has seen but three owners in its life, all of which have been from Northern California.

As described by its current owner, here is the rundown of the car front-to-back:

**Engine:

**Not the original block, but rather a 1969 302 was used during the rebuild. It has a 600 cfm Edelbrock carburetor and Performer intake manifold, Tri-Y headers, mild performance cam, Pertronix breakerless ignition, Cloyes double roller timing set, forged pistons and a Boss 302 windage tray.

**Driveline:

**C4 automatic rebuilt with B&M performance clutches, bushings, seals and valve body shift kit. Updated torque converter, new bearings in the rear end as well as an aluminum one-piece drive-shaft.

**Exhaust:

**2 1/2" aluminized pipes to dual-chamber Flowmasters, and the pipes continue out the back to a factory-correct cut-out valance with quad GT tips.

*Body:

*

Maiers California Special kit, with a fiberglas trunk lid, end caps, side scoops and front air dan with scoop for oil cooler.

**Suspension:

**Sub-frame connectors, and the front end is equipped with a Monte Carlo bar, export brace, 720-lb. coils, 1 1/8" sway bar, KYB shocks, negative wedge kit and a camber eccentric eliminator kit. In the rear, it has Cobra Jet 5-leaf mid-eye drops, 3/4" sway bar kit and KYB shocks...all of this makes for a car that handles as well as a new generation Mustang!

Interior:

Aluminized insulation covers the floor and sides, along with a new headliner, new carpet, new seat buns and skins, new dash, updated white-face gauges, and also added is an aluminum panel riveted behind the rear passenger seat as a theft deterrent.

**Exterior:

**Turn signal hood, GT pop-down gas cap, Magnum 500s as well as new bumpers.

**Brakes:

**Granada disc conversion with a power booster and a Wilwood proportioning valve.

Other features include power steering, 4-row radiator with Gano filter, a fan shroud with flex fan, Pioneer stereo system with iPod wiring, Fosgate 6x9 speakers in the rear and 6" Pioneer speakers in the front are the final touches that make this Mustang a car that looks classic, sounds classic, drives like a modern machine and will turn heads wherever you take it!
