Nicely Maintained 1967 Volkswagen Beetle Sedan

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1967 Volkswagen Beetle 2 Door Sedan with great body lines, white exterior paint and a very nice black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a period correct 1.5L 4-cylinder Boxer engine under the hood paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. This classic Bug has been through recent restoration including a respray, interior, and extensive mechanical refurbishment.  Additionally, this example is still highly original throughout with very nice curb appeal, making it desirable for a wide variety of potential collectors and enthusiasts.

Over $10,000 Invested in Recent Mechanical Refurbishment 

This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle offers good as can be expected acceleration, braking and handling for a classic Bug.  You’ll also find a nicely sorted engine compartment that’s correct in appearance, and brings out a lot of nostalgia since it hasn’t been modified or molested.  The previous owners 1300cc engine was replaced with a period correct 1500cc engine, the transmission was fully rebuilt, and this classic was completely sorted through to ensure it was safe, sound, and ready to enjoy.

Additionally, the current owner of this 1967 Volkswagen Beetle acquired it in 2020 and almost immediately began extensive mechanical restoration to engine, driveline, brakes and suspension. This classic also had the paint and interior refreshed under a previous owner, so the result is a super clean, very correct example that really stands out in person. This Beetle even has the original owners manual from 1967!  There are some minor imperfections to be found in the paint and chrome, but nothing that really detracts from this classic overall.  It is a well-kept, great running example.
