We want to provide an update to our most valued customers regarding the current situation with COVID-19.
With the shelter in place order in effect, we have closed all three showrooms to the public. However, we have ensured all of our sales staff are able perform their jobs from home to the fullest extent. For any inquiries of any vehicle offered for sale or potential consignment, please contact the showroom you would like to reach, and our staff will be more than able to help with any information or details you require.
With our showrooms closed to the public we are adhering to a strict appointment only policy for anyone who may need to look at a vehicle or potentially consign one on site. We want to minimize as much contact, so we ask that you please commit to an appointment and that you are serious about looking at a car. If you are wanting to consign a vehicle, we ask that you send us as much information over the phone and email so we can evaluate your vehicle before you bring it down to one of our locations. You will find all relevant contact information on this email so feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Our service department in our Fairfield location will be fully operational as an Essential Business and will adhere to our schedule of M-F 9am - 5:30pm. For any service-related questions please give us a call at (707) 419-8209.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in these challenging times, and we want to thank you for your support now and over the years and look forward to serving you in the years to come.

You’ll find a factory true 400 cid V-8 engine under the hood with upgraded Edelbrock heads, intake and manifold plus a factory correct automatic transmission with a Hurst His-n-Her console mounted shifter. Optioned with power steering and power front disc brakes, this truly legendary muscle car is in fantastic condition and ready for the open road today!
Two Owner Black Plate “Z-Code” Built in Fremont, CA
The current owner of this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible acquired it back in 2008 as the 2nd lifetime owner and he still has the original black plates in his possession. He informs us that the original owner maintained this muscle car at the highest possible levels, and it was fully restored several years ago with the aforementioned performance upgrades (heads, intake, etc) and a powder coated frame. The exterior of this vehicle is exceptional all the way around as well with shimmering paint and excellent chrome and trim- it could almost pass for a like-new example since the imperfections are so far and few between.
In terms of performance, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible is lightning-fast on the open road and handles exactly like you’d expect from a well-sorted example. The engine bay is also super clean throughout with modest chrome and a stock-like appearance- the motor fires right up and sounds excellent when prompted. This example simply begs to be driven since it does everything well and looks amazing while doing it.
Additionally, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible has a beautiful interior that’s stock in appearance with only minimal signs of wear. The gauges look factory correct for this example as does the paneling and other elements. We did notice that the trunk area appears to be in un-restored, factory condition with moderate levels of wear & tear- it’s perhaps the only blemish on an otherwise exceptional classic vehicle.
Must Be Seen in Person to Truly Appreciate
Overall, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible is one of the purest, most impressive examples we’ve come across this year and it’s priced to find a new home quickly. Dollar for dollar, you will not find a more impressive example anywhere in the country since the condition, provenance and documentation are all excellent. Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
