This Nova has led a pampered life, and it really shows. Mary Jane Snipes bought the car new on May 9, 1967 at Wicks Chevrolet Co. in Aberdeen North Carolina. She moved the car to Lynwood, CA in 1968, and it lived in So Cal until 1989, when it moved to Denver with a collector. Everything is documented with the first registration receipt on 5/9/67, and every CA and CO registration through the 1990s. In addition to all the registrations, the car also includes the ORIGINAL window sticker, POP, and bill of sale. Peggy Jean bought a very sharp Nova SS with the big motor that includes:
327/275 HP biggest motor available in 1967
Automatic shift on the floor console
Dual exhaust
AM push button radio
Rear seat speaker
Vinyl top
Tinted windows
Simulated mag style hubcaps
White walls
Interior lamp group
Bumper guards
Red Vinyl bucket seats
Bolero red paint
The car remains today as ordered except the bumper guards. All options are correct, and everything works right down to the cigarette lighter. The car wears all of her original panels, with no evidence of rust or damage. All the tinted windows, including the windshield, are original and dated to the car. The drive train is all original, and shows no evidence of ever being out of the car. The GM installed engine straps are still attached to the front of the block. Excellent original dash, door panels, headliner, console, and rear seat Very nice example of an original documented high performance Nova SS.
