Built from the Ground Up for Blistering Performance
The owner of this 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe took possession back in 2008 as the 4th lifetime owner, and he didn’t waste much time before starting an extensive frame-off restoration in the spring of 2009. Every inch of this amazing vehicle was stripped down to bare metal and rebuilt for sizzling performance with the best components money can buy. From Traction Master sub-frame connectors to new floor pans to countless upgrades like a March serpentine belt system and Flaming River tilt steering, this is one of the most complete builds we’ve come across in years. The best news is that we have receipts on file for virtually every component inside and out.
Additionally, this 1966 Ford Mustang shows excellent in person with laser straight body lines, show quality paint and a completely new interior, including premium autometer gauges and retro-style controls with a vintage Mustang radio. All the exterior glass, trim and chrome are like new in appearance as well with perfect alignment and outstanding curb appeal. This example has Best in Show potential despite being a quite capable track worthy classic- you couldn’t build this vehicle for double the current asking price.
In terms of performance, this 1966 Ford Mustang is truly unbelievable with lightning fast acceleration, excellent grip to the rear wheels and sensational handling. This performance vehicle makes the most of its 525+ horses throughout every gear and it also has excellent stopping power thanks to the oversized slotted power front disc brakes. This classic has to be driven to be truly appreciated since it does everything at world-class levels.
