Rare & Desirable 1966 Dodge Charger Hardtop

New to our Benicia showroom is this rare and desirable 1966 Dodge Charger 2 Door Hardtop with Silver Poly exterior paint and a burgundy interior. It features a freshly built 383 Cid V-8 engine under the hood with headers, a 4bbl carburetor, and electronic ignition and a Torqueflite automatic transmission, plus it’s a factory A/C model with power front disc brakes, a factory tachometer, 15x7 Magnum 500 wheels and bucket seating with a console shift. This one is in very nice condition as well and it’s being offered at a steal of a price.

Older Restoration w/ Same Family Last 15 Years

The current owner of this 1966 Dodge Charger informs us that it’s been with his family since 2001 and restored by the previous owner sometime in the mid-1990’s. A new 383 engine has been installed recently though with headers and a 4bbl carburetor, so this rare muscle car really performs well and has some serious power. Likewise, it handles nicely and really stands out in traffic, so this is certainly an example that can be shown locally and really enjoyed.

Additionally, this 1966 Dodge Charger Hardtop still shines nicely and looks as if it could be a much newer restoration. The interior does show minor wear in the seating, but it is very clean throughout and is one of the nicer examples that we’ve seen in quite some time. This particular body style was only produced in 1966 and 1967, so there are very few remaining on the open market.
