Purchased from the original owner who happened to be a family member of the current owner this 1966 ford Mustang has seen a very well cared for life. Restoration began in 2000 with new candy apple red paint and a rebuilt engine and transmission that has seen just 10,000 miles. Powered by the freshly rebuilt 289 C.I. V8 "C" code engine producing 200 horsepower and an automatic C-4 transmission this convertible is a Mustang you can drive daily if needed. Garage kept since the restoration was completed this Mustang has been used just enough to keep the mechanicals lubricated and functioning, and is basically a fresh restoration that has been preserved for 10 years. The black interior is exceptionally clean and the white convertible soft top is power operated and also in excellent condition. Having been equipped with power steering and front disc brakes this Mustang has become a safer and easier car to drive. While modern touches such as a trunk mounted CD changer and aftermarket speakers provide for a more enjoyable driving experience. A red convertible Mustang is this kind of condition doesn't usually last long, and it shouldn't at this price.
