Beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang C Code Convertible

New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang C Code 2 Door Convertible with iconic red exterior paint and a black vinyl interior.  You’ll find the factory “C-Code” 289 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers-matching 3-speed manual transmission and this impressive example performs very nicely at highway speeds.  You’ll certainly want to come see this one in person to test drive it since the photographs do it very little justice- it shows great in person for a high end original driver.

The current owner of this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible acquired it back in 2013 as the 3^rd lifetime owner.  He informs us that it is a lifetime Bay Area classic that manufactured in the San Jose factory and purchased in the Bay Area.  It has remained largely original throughout its entire lifetime.  It did receive a partial restoration a few years back which included high end paint, some refreshing in the interior and rebuilding/restoring of the drive train.  You will find some minor imperfections on this example but nothing to detract from its overall curb appeal.  The convertible top is also in excellent shape and the interior is super-clean throughout.                                                             

Additionally, this 1965 Ford Mustang Roadster is a very impressive performer with nice acceleration, smooth shifting and simply a great overall feel on the open road.  The suspension and brakes are all up to standard and we have ample documentation showing where this beautiful roadster was frequently serviced and maintained (transmission, clutch and brakes).  It really does not need anything to be enjoyed right away; yet it’s also a great candidate for a complete restoration since everything is here and in excellent overall working shape.
