New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1965 Ford Mustang 2 Door Convertible with Silver Blue exterior paint and a matching blue vinyl interior.  You’ll find the factory correct and original 289 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the matching automatic transmission, an upgraded 4 BBL carburetor, dual exhaust, GT Rallye wheels, a power top, the factory AM radio and so much more.  This amazing, eye-catching muscle car shows only 42,496, (believed to be original) miles on the odometer and it’s one of the most impressive examples you’ll find on the open market today.

Highly Original & Enjoyed by Two Lifetime Bay Area Owners 

This 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible has been enjoyed by two lifetime owners- the most recent of which took possession all the way back in 1984.  She informs us that this beautiful pony car is highly original throughout and has always been garaged and well maintained it's entire life. This beauty was re-sprayed in it's original silver-blue in the early 1990's, and at that time, had upgrades like 4bbl carburetor, and a new electric top with a folding rear glass window. The mileage showed 39,901 at the time and this gorgeous muscle car has been driven less than 3,000 total miles over the past 28 years.

Additionally, this 1965 Ford Mustang Roadster shows excellent in person with only negligible imperfections to be found.  There are a few small scratches/chips across the otherwise meticulous body and the paint, original chrome and interior/exterior trim are all excellent in appearance.  You’ll also find factory correct bucket seats, the original instrument cluster and AM radio, factory carpeting, GT Rallye wheels and more- all in tremendous condition.  This is easily one of the most pristine survivors we’ve ever laid our eyes on and it drives like a dream.
