We want to provide an update to our most valued customers regarding the current situation with COVID-19.
With the shelter in place order in effect, we have closed all three showrooms to the public. However, we have ensured all of our sales staff are able perform their jobs from home to the fullest extent. For any inquiries of any vehicle offered for sale or potential consignment, please contact the showroom you would like to reach, and our staff will be more than able to help with any information or details you require.
With our showrooms closed to the public we are adhering to a strict appointment only policy for anyone who may need to look at a vehicle or potentially consign one on site. We want to minimize as much contact, so we ask that you please commit to an appointment and that you are serious about looking at a car. If you are wanting to consign a vehicle, we ask that you send us as much information over the phone and email so we can evaluate your vehicle before you bring it down to one of our locations. You will find all relevant contact information on this email so feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 2 Door Convertible with Evening Orchid exterior paint, a white convertible top and a matching white vinyl interior. You’ll find a factory true 2.7L six cylinder engine under the hood with a 4-speed manual transmission and power steering. This pristine example is gorgeous in person as well and offers very nice performance- you must come by to see it since this is one of those classics where the photos and description do not do it enough justice.
Fully Restored & Enjoyed by the Same Family Since 1980
This 1965 Chevy Corvair Monza Convertible was purchased back in 1980 by a father-son duo that fully restored this highly original classic back to factory specs over a multi-year build. They inform us that the drivetrain is numbers-matching and the heads were recently rebuilt to raise the factory power from 95 horsepower to 110. With new tires and decades of excellent maintenance, this desirable classic drives perhaps better than new and it’s completely unblemished throughout as well.
Additionally, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible looks excellent in person with fantastic exterior paint, chrome and trim. The soft top is in good shape as well and the only imperfections you’ll find are insignificant blemishes. You’ll be equally impressed by the factory interior that still has vinyl from the factory- there is one small tear and a little fading to the factory carpeting but otherwise, this is one of the cleanest original classics we’ve seen in quite some time. As we said earlier, it must be seen in person to truly appreciate because it’s simply beautiful.
An Incredible Value at the Current Asking Price
Overall, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible is a beautiful, well maintained classic roadster with great curb appeal and even better performance. If you’ve been searching for a highly original example that’s withstood the tests of time, then you absolutely must come see this gorgeous classic in person before it finds another home. Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
The information presented for this vehicle is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed as a basis of purchase. The Buyer should make a thorough, independent inspection and investigation of the vehicle prior to purchase.
