 New to our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL 2 Door Convertible with beautiful black exterior paint, a vibrant red interior and a stunning white vinyl top.  According to the current owner, it has the factory 352 cid V-8 engine under the hood backed by the factory automatic transmission, plus this one is very nicely optioned with power steering, power brakes, a console shifter, a Kenwood sound system and Original California Black plates.  This classic is in beautiful overall condition and it is ready to enjoy right away.

In terms of condition, this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible has very nice body lines plus near perfect paint and body work throughout.  It also has brand new red carpeting to compliment the gorgeous red bucket seats and white vinyl top; there is very little to complain about when it comes to this classic.  There are a few slight blemishes that prevent it from falling into the category of perfection…but it’s definitely not that far off.  Even the trunk and the engine compartment are ultra clean.

Additionally, this ’64 Galaxie 500 XL convertible sounds amazing when you start it up and it has a really nice ride quality.  From what we can tell, this beauty has been kept stock throughout its lifetime and babied by its two total owners.  The original owner cared for it for over 20 years and the current owner has enjoyed it ever since.
