Very Impressive 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Hardtop

New to our Benicia showroom is this very impressive 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 2 Door Hardtop with Laser Metallic Red paint custom exterior paint and a beautiful white interior. It features a freshly rebuilt 351 CI V-8 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission, and this one is very nicely equipped for modern highway driving. In fact, this highly original classic is fresh off a $15k restoration project and there’s a lot here to appreciate. It is absolutely beautiful in person.

Over $15,000 Invested in Restoration Efforts

The current owner of this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 informs us that he purchased it in 2012 due to its highly original condition and excellent documentation. In fact, he still has the original bill of sale, the build tag and the original window sticker, plus dozens of original parts that he kept during the upgrade process. While this one is not numbers-matching any longer, the current 351 V-8 runs great and this one is a true pleasure to drive around town.

In terms of actual condition, this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Hardtop is well above the typical driver’s standard with custom ’01 Mustang Laser Metallic Red paint, polished American Racing wheels and very nice metal work. The interior is very clean as well so this one really stands out in a crowd, and it has only slight deficiencies to prevent it from being truly show quality.
