Very Original 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Sprint Roadster

The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Sprint 2 Door Convertible with Pearl White exterior paint, orange pin striping, a white vinyl top and a red/white vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 260 cid V-8 engine under the hood with an automatic transmission and this beautiful roadster is fully loaded with power steering, power brakes, a great sound system, a power top, custom trunk panels and so much more.  This desirable classic is in very nice condition as well and it’s ready to be enjoyed today!

Nicely Maintained Across Three Lifetime Owners

The current owner informs us that this 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Sprint Convertible started its life as beige colored 260 cid V8 with a 2bbl carb, a 2-speed Fordomatic transmission and a 3.25:1 rear axle ratio.  We are unsure if the drivetrain is still numbers-matching but we can tell you that this example is very original in person and obviously cared for at a very high level. It’s been enjoyed by 3 different lifetime owners and was originally built in the Lorain, OH plant.  It originally sold in Los Angeles and is believed to be a lifetime California example.

In terms of appearance, this 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Roadster has excellent body lines with fresh paint and very clean metalwork.  The orange stripe really makes this example stand out and you’ll only find the slightest of imperfections to the exterior.  Likewise, the professionally reupholstered two-tone interior is outstanding and gives this classic a high end luxury appearance- it’s simply beautiful in person. 

Meanwhile, the engine compartment is typical driver quality that could use some cosmetic refreshing; although is certainly doesn’t need anything to be enjoyed as a high end driver right away.
