New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 2 Door Convertible with yellow exterior paint and a black vinyl interior. It features a freshly rebuilt 327 CI V-8 engine under the hood with a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, and this one is very nicely equipped for modern highway driving. It has also seem lots of attention lately to get it is top running shape, so it’s ready to enjoy during the upcoming Fall months.

Complete Mechanical Overhaul within Last 13k Miles

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Convertible is a true SS that’s been with three total owners throughout its life. The current owner has enjoyed it here in the Bay Area since 1999 and he informs us that he had the entire drivetrain rebuilt within the last 13k miles. It’s also seen plenty of recent service with an entire front end rebuild, plus it had the radiator and the brakes rebuilt, received a new convertible boot top and got new tires and a battery.

In terms of actual condition, this 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible is extremely clean both inside and out with only the slightest signs of visible wear. While it’s certainly not in “perfect” cosmetic condition, this one is well above the typical driver’s standard and it also drives like a much newer muscle car. Great power, great handling…it’s just a solid overall classic.
